The tomatoes, once washed and selected, are steamed to make them softer for the next stage of extrusion. Then, a rollers will push the tomatoes onto a mesh through which the tomatoes will pass, becoming extruded pulp. Depending on the mesh size, a more or less fine pulp will be obtained. Final step is mixed with sauce and packaged in tinplate or aseptic bag. The final process will be pasteurization and stowage.
